The problem
People looking for providers in Benin have no centralized, reliable directory by trade and area, and providers have no simple showcase to be found beyond word of mouth.
What I built
In Benin, finding a reliable service provider (carpenter, electrician, plumber, mason...) almost always relies on word of mouth, with no easy way to check availability or service area. DJO structures this matchmaking: a feed of profiles filterable by trade and municipality, a hidden contact number that only appears on click, and a recommendation flow where a third party can suggest a good provider, validated manually before publication. Built with Next.js (App Router, Server Actions) and Supabase (PostgreSQL with Row Level Security on every table), with rate limiting on sensitive actions and a full admin area for moderation and statistics.
