EYADIGITAL BILLING Turning manual invoicing into a structured workflow

The context

Invoicing can quickly become hard to follow when it relies on several files, documents and separate conversations.

Quotes, contracts, invoices, payments and receipts still need to stay consistent with one another. A forgotten detail or a poorly tracked document can quickly cause delays or misunderstandings with a client.

I ran into this problem in my own freelance work and decided to turn it into a product.

The problem

The need was to centralize the whole commercial cycle in a single system:

Quote → Contract → Invoice → Payment → Receipt

The goal was not simply to build an invoice generator, but a true workflow to follow a commercial relationship from the first document to the final payment.

The technical challenges

  • Modeling several interdependent commercial stages
  • Preventing inconsistent transitions in the workflow
  • Automatically generating PDF documents
  • Keeping a history of actions
  • Handling payments and matching them to invoices
  • Preparing the architecture for multiple users
  • Guaranteeing data isolation between accounts

The solution

I built an invoicing platform organized around distinct business modules.

Each stage has its own rules and can be linked to the following ones. The system keeps continuity between the initial quote, the contract, the invoice, the payment and the receipt.

Documents are automatically generated as PDFs with the information the client needs.

I also added an action history to keep a trace of the important operations performed in the system.

An architecture built to evolve

The backend was designed as business modules rather than a mix of tangled features.

This approach separates responsibilities and lets the platform grow step by step.

Data is also organized so that multiple accounts can use the system while staying isolated from one another.

The results

A complete workflow covering the quote → contract → invoice → payment → receipt cycle
Automated PDF document generation
History of actions performed in the system
Payment and invoice management
Architecture prepared for multiple users
Backend and interface delivered in about 4 weeks, solo
The system is used as a real tool to manage invoicing operations

What this project taught me

A good management tool should not only store information. It should also enforce consistent business logic.

With Billing, the goal was precisely to turn a series of manual actions into a structured workflow where every step has its place.

Working with Yaji NONFON was an excellent experience from start to finish. He built the entire Mp Recharge platform, a robust and fully functional solution that now serves more than 100 active users. Throughout the project, he showed strong technical skills, met every deadline and kept communication clear and professional.
